My name is Justin Grodem and I'm a 22 year old from San Carlos, California. I'm currently enrolled at Linfield College, located in McMinnville Oregon, working towards my Bachelors Degree in Marketing
Photography since I was young has been the best form of self-expression I've been lucky enough to pursue. Creating quality images that not only have meaning to myself while also tell a story to the viewer is my personal goal for every photoshoot I do.
Through photography I've been able to have some have some amazing opportunities. The first of which came back in 2015 when I was a senior year in high school when I produced, shot and edited the photo that would become the book cover to Benjamin Card's novella "Love: American Style".
Another opportunity I received came I joined the student run newspaper, "The Linfield Review", where I was able to shoot our consistently elite DIII Football team.
In the summer of 2016, I worked as the photography intern at Oracle. During that summer, I assisted and learned from their in-house photography team throughout the production process of Hardware shoots, Executive Portraits and miscellaneous brand shoots. This experience has been incredibly valuable to me and has helped me further understand the correlation that Photography can have with a companies Brand.
For The summers of 2017 and 2018, I spent my time working at Super Color Digital as a Marketing assistant producing many different forms of digital media and content. I also spent a lot of time learning how to use direct marketing campaigns such as Pardot to help widen the reach of our promotional goals.
